Ribs & Burgers – Chatswood, Sydney

Ribs & Burgers

It’s definitely hard to say “no” when RIBS & BURGERS invite you to try out their new Classic Double burger and some ribs! DS and I headed along to their Chatswood branch for an early dinner. If you didn’t know, RIBS & BURGERS have loads of branches all over Sydney so check out their website for your closest store (oh and psst! They deliver too!)

First up: how cute are these little teapot buckets that you get your cutlery and condiments in?! They make for the cutest table numbers, too!

Vanilla Malt Thickshake ($7.90)

DS and I ordered a Vanilla Malt Thickshake ($7.90) to wash our dinner down. Big mistake was that we thought one would be enough between the two of us! We ended up trying to grab the drink off each other before the other person had too much, it was that good. I definitely recommend getting a thickshake while you’re there.

Classic Double ($10.90)

Pork St Louis (Regular, $19.90)

Famous Chips ($4.50)

DS went for the Classic Double ($10.90) which is the current RIBS & BURGERS promotion. It’s not like a double burger where you get three pieces of bread or bun. You just literally get two patties piled onto the burger! This is definitely one for the extra-hungry.

I had the Pork St Louis (Regular, $19.90) and we shared the Famous Chips ($4.50). Make you sure order the chips as they don’t come with the burgers! I was surprised how big the ‘regular’ rack of ribs was, but I love ribs so that was cool with me. The thing with ribs is that there’s actually a lot of bone as well, so you don’t end up eating nearly as much meat as it looks. I gotta say, I really enjoyed these ribs! They actually exceeded my expectations and I’d be keen to head back to RIBS & BURGERS just for the ribs next time. Every bite was juicy and tasty, no hard bits at all!

Classic Double ($10.90)

We had such a great meal at RIBS & BURGERS and I’d definitely recommend it! Personally, I’d go there for ribs rather than the burgers. I found the burgers a bit too ‘structured’ and I like my burgers sloppy and squishy (think Mary’s burgers!). Nevertheless, it was great to check it out, so thanks for the invite, guys!

Dave’s 2 cents: It was just like, a good quality, classic style hamburger.
