A little while ago, I did a Menulog giveaway – which was great, because who doesn’t like to have their meals delivered, fully cooked, to their doorstep?
But here’s one for those who do enjoy the cooking process. In fact this is possibly the easiest way for you to cook a meal at home yourself – you get the ingredients personally delivered to your door!
Click through to check out Your Fork – and a special reader offer to try it out!
[Firstly, apologies for the sub-par photography. It’s hard when you’re super hungry and trying to cook and taking photos on your Iphone at the same time…]
So I’m sitting there at work and it’s nearing 5:30pm – nearly home time! But then it dawns on me…I don’t know what I’m going to have for dinner tonight! What a disaster!
On top of that, I don’t feel like takeaway…I feel like cooking. How to make a meal at home without making that detour to the supermarket which inevitably takes so long because every other worker in Sydney is doing the same thing?
Don’t worry guys – Your Fork has got you covered.
Simply go online, pick the meal you want to cook and it will be delivered in its raw ingredient form (well, nearly…they do use jars and cans of stuff) to your doorstop in 1-2 hours! (They were even kind enough to throw in something a little extra for dessert!)
And there I go, cooking my Tomato, Onion and Roast Garlic Pasta with Beef Mince.
And in no time at all, I have a homemade meal. I’m inclined to argue that it is definitely healthier than getting takeaway. You know what exactly you’re putting in your food! However, it would be great if they actually provided you with the ingredients to make everything from scratch. In my case, that would mean the ingredients to make the tomato, onion and roast garlic sauce.
Nonetheless, you still get that small feeling of achievement when you eat a meal you made yourself rather than resorting to ye olde takeaway…
Now it’s your turn – use the code ‘TALKANDSPOON’ to get $10 off your first Your Fork order!
Go on, head over and have a look at what you could make for dinner tonight, without bothering to leave your house.
