Kakawa Chocolate – Darlinghurst, Sydney

IMG_2620

This isn’t a restaurant review, but it is a food review nonetheless! Kakawa Chocolate is my favourite chocolate store in Sydney. Not only is your customer experience exceedingly pleasant, in the minimalist, white, peaceful surrounds of the Darlinghurst store (there is also a store in the Gaffa Gallery in the CBD) where Radiohead occasionally plays in the background; the product you buy is also of the highest quality. I visit regularly for fun things such as peanut praline and strawberry jelly chocolate bars, banana caramel chocolates, chai latte cup chocolates, ice cream sandwiches and peanut butter caramels – just to name a few.

I am the type of person who likes specials – special items on sale or seasonal specials, etc. That is why I get particularly excited every year about Kakawa’s christmas specials. They have anawesome selection this year. I took home (clockwise from top left) a Christmas pudding, a ginger breadless man (hehe), an egg nog cup and a brandied cherry.
