Noodle Mi, noodle you!
Within walking distance from Sheung Wan station in Hong Kong (exit A2 for those interested) you have a delightfully small and always packed Vietnamese restaurant – Noodle Mi. You know it’s good when you have to line up!
My cousin had recommended it to me initially a few years ago. Now I realise there’s something delightfully tropical about slurping a hot bowl of soup and slurping your hot mint tea in 30 degree heat – welcome to the equator.
Behold – the vegetarian pho, packed with tofu, cauliflower and other vegetable goodness.
DS on the other hand chose a more civilised, but also very generous helping of banh mi – I think it was pork. They also do take away, and I think you can even pay with your octopus card (HK’s version of the opal card)!
